Booth Giveaway & Downstream-Use Terms
Booth A/B free downloads are complimentary promotional files. They are never sold. Downstream use requires credit and the limits below.
Pending counsel review. These documents are operational templates for a digital beat storefront. They are not a substitute for advice from qualified music, privacy, or tax counsel. Live payments stay disabled until rights clearance and counsel sign-off are recorded in the launch runbook.
- Free — no checkout, no paid lease.
- Credit “Prod. Nate Fox” (or equivalent) on releases.
- Non-exclusive; Nate may use or license the same material elsewhere.
- No resale of the beat file itself; no claim of ownership.
- Public download stays off until rights approval enables FREE_DOWNLOADS_MODE.
1. What this covers
These terms apply when Booth A (open verse) or Booth B (monthly free beat) full-file downloads are publicly enabled. Previews alone do not grant a giveaway license.
2. License grant
When a giveaway download is enabled, Nate Fox grants you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download the designated file and create a new recording that incorporates it, including non-commercial and commercial releases of your new recording, subject to these terms.
3. Credit and sharing
Credit “Prod. Nate Fox” (or equivalent) wherever customary. For open-verse challenges, share your version and tag the project / Nate Fox so it can be heard when the challenge asks you to.
4. Restrictions
You may not:
- Do not sell, re-upload, or re-license the raw giveaway file as a beat lease or sample pack.
- Do not claim ownership of the underlying beat or register it solely in your name.
- Do not use the file for advertising / sync without a separate written grant.
- Do not issue Content ID or takedowns against Nate Fox or other legitimate users of the same beat.
5. No warranty
Giveaways are promotional and provided as-is. Enabling or disabling FREE_DOWNLOADS_MODE is a release decision and may change without converting prior downloads into paid leases.
