Refund & Digital Delivery Policy
Digital beat leases are generally final after private download links are issued. If delivery fails on our side, we will re-deliver or refund.
Pending counsel review. These documents are operational templates for a digital beat storefront. They are not a substitute for advice from qualified music, privacy, or tax counsel. Live payments stay disabled until rights clearance and counsel sign-off are recorded in the launch runbook.
- Successful delivery of download links = sale complete for digital goods.
- If links never arrive or files are corrupt due to our error, we re-deliver or refund.
- Change-of-mind, wrong-tier selection after download, or “I found another beat” are not refund grounds.
- Chargebacks without contacting support first may revoke the license.
1. Digital goods
Beat Thrift Shop sells digital beat leases. Once we email working private download links and the license PDF for a paid order, the digital good has been delivered.
2. When we refund or re-deliver
Contact support with your order / license reference if:
- You paid but never received delivery email within a reasonable window.
- Every download link fails before expiry for reasons on our side (wrong object, empty file, expired through our fault).
- You were charged twice for the same checkout attempt.
- We cancel an order before fulfillment.
3. When we typically do not refund
Unless required by law, we typically do not refund when:
- Change of mind after links were issued.
- Buyer selected MP3 vs WAV incorrectly after downloading.
- Buyer’s spam filter, full mailbox, or discarded email (we can often re-send within policy).
- Buyer’s local player, DAW, or OS issues unrelated to the file we delivered.
- Dissatisfaction with creative fit after previewing the same beat in the shop.
4. How to request help
Email the support address on your license email. Include the order reference, purchase email, and a short description. Do not open a chargeback before contacting us — banks often freeze funds and we may revoke the license while the dispute is open.
5. EP collaboration deposits
Live EP deposits are not enabled on this site yet. If a future deposit product launches, its refund rules will be published under a new version before any live charge.
6. Tax
Displayed prices are set in USD. Applicable taxes, if any, are calculated by the payment provider based on your location and shown at checkout when enabled. Tax treatment remains subject to finance/legal sign-off for each launch territory.
